Video: STAND for guitarist Geo and Race No More...

Chicago is a treasure of a city. The cold winters, hot summers, tough streets and proud blue color work ethic deliver us a fierce, no jive, “show us what ya got” kind of town. The meek can’t survive there only the truly badass do and they always carry a deep soulfulness in their hearts. And if they ever leave, the artful gifted hearts they bring are one of Chicago’s greatest exports.

Geo, aka Jorge Evans, is one of those badass exports. A killer guitarist whose hands carry deep raw groove and, equally, the heaviest thunder of his crushing Bogner Ecstasy and Uberschall amps. A rare combination for sure but he pulls it off with ease. Since the earliest days Reinhold Bogner and Geo have been friends and has been using Bogners as part of his tone arsenal ever since.

Music SCREAMS! louder than words and Geo’s got something to say. His new project RNM - “Race No More” is big, bold and demands attention. Music carries emotions and at it’s best carries a deeper more resonant message. RNM’s first single and video “STAND” deserves such attention and its message should be heard and shared. Dig it and STAND!

Eric Steckel loves his Ecstasy amp!

Guitarist Eric Steckel is a rare breed. Just a few years ago he was a teenage blues-rock prodigy ripping up a storm along the east coast. Unfortunately many of these young prodigies suffer the same fate in that they never evolve musically or develop a unique voice. Eventually disappearing into the cluttered graveyard of the so-called “gifted.”

Not Eric, he never exited onto that dead-end road. But what he did do was push himself and kept pushing to learn more about all kinds of music, discovering his voice plus becoming an accomplished Hammond B3 organ player. Now in his early 20’s, Eric has released several solo CDs and is annually touring Europe  ripping up festival stages. Eric is a good cat, extremely talented, dedicated to his music and just getting started - and that’s a fierce combination. Eric Steckel is a rare breed indeed and you can discover more about him on his site here.

Eric uses and loves his Ecstasy Amp and here's what he had to say about it:

"Bogner Amps have my back at every show. I never have to think about it. Plug in, flip the switch, and bam! I'm in tone heaven. And did I mention they look freakin' beautiful on stage too? The Ecstasy Blue Channel IS my sound." Eric Steckel

Guitarist Jamie Kime's new CD release - ALLEYS

Guitarist Jamie Kime is one of Los Angeles’s best kept secrets. Though he has worked with Jewel, Michelle Branch, the L.A. Philharmonic and won a Grammy for his work with Zappa Plays Zappa, Jamie still keeps a low profile. And that’s often the case with hard working dedicated musicians. They only come up briefly for air and water and then dive right back down into the quiet depths of their heart…creating.

And that inward creative journey has delivered, big time, with Jamie’s solo release “Alleys”. Featuring 10 instrumental songs all driven by Jamie’s incredible incendiary playing that’s equally finesse and fire. Pulsating and alive, Alleys takes you through unexpected twists and turns and unique sonic vistas you are thrilled to arrive at. Alley’s also features Mike Keneally on bass, Cliff Almond on drums, and was mixed by veteran engineer Dave Eugene Jenkins.

So that blip flying 1000 mph onto your musical radar is no UFO and is a secret no more. It’s Jamie Kime bursting onto the musical landscape lighting up the sky as he takes you through the “Alleys” of his soul.

Check out Alleys on CdBaby right here and then find out more about Jamie on his website here.

Shane Theriot is KILLING with his Blue pedal!

Both blistering and eclectic, groove monster Shane Theriot loves his Bogner Blue pedal. Shane is currently the Musical Director for Hall & Oates, is also a solo artist, and has worked with a huge range of critically acclaimed artists including: The Neville Brothers, Dr. John, Boz Scaggs, Madeleine Peyroux and many, many others. Be sure to watch him on Pallidia's Live From Daryl's House tv show. Dig into Shane's music and more on his site here.

Here's what Shane had to say about his Bogner Blue pedal: "Plugging into the Ecstasy "Blue" pedal instantly and dramatically expanded my tonal and EQ palette. It's like having another powerful amplifier in your arsenal of sounds all hidden in a nice blue box."

Carlos Garcia loves his Bogner amp!

Fantastic UK guitarist Carlos Garcia loves his Bogner Goldfinger amp and has been using one on tour and in the studio. Find out more about Carlos and his music here.

Here's what had to say: "The equivalent of plugging your guitar into a Swiss Army knife - I love Bogner amps for their versatility and vast range of tones." Carlos Garcia.
